For Andres, dancing has been a way of life since he was just four years old, when his tías would pull him out onto the dance floor at family parties. Born in Venezuela and raised in South St. Paul, MN, he finally brought that lifetime of kitchen-dancing into the studio and started formal training at 25 years old.
Andres focuses on Salsa, which he calls his true soul music. For him, dancing isn’t about being perfect—it’s about waking up your spirit, finding pure joy, and letting your true self out. He also teaches yoga and hosts a local run club, so he knows exactly how to get your body moving while keeping things mindful and high-energy.​

When you come to Andres’s class, you’re instantly part of the crew. He loves teaching at One Reason because the studio feels like a big family where everyone has fun and looks out for each other. Whether you have two left feet or are ready to level up your social dancing, Andres will make you feel right at home.
