Originally from Tehran, Iran, Ramin moved to the United States and has since lived in four different states. Dancing began as a way to connect with others and experience the joy of sharing the dance floor. Bachata has always been a favorite, with a particular love for Urban and Sensual Bachata that began with the music itself. As both a dancer and instructor, Ramin is passionate about continually improving technique and teaching while, most importantly, creating a welcoming and healthy community where everyone feels comfortable connecting, discovering themselves, and expressing who they are through dance. Outside of dance, Ramin holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and works as a Sustainability Advisor, helping companies improve their environmental impact.
