Huge news! Sneak Peek of Our NEW Dance Studio and Community Center! August is officially renovation month here at One Reason... join our owner for an exclusive walk-through of the massive new building (still in NE Minneapolis area) that we are converting into a larger dance studio and so much more. Along with our regularly scheduled salsa, bachata, and rueda classes, we are pouring the rest of our energy into this project to get everything ready for the big move coming later this fall. Join us for a Saturday afternoon/evening of salsa, bachata, and rueda dancing at Lake Bde Maka Ska in Uptown Minneapolis! We will gather on May 30th, 2026, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00pm at Pimento on the Lake (3000 E. Bde Maka Ska Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55408). This is a free event, and all are welcome. Let's enjoy this beautiful weather and take our dancing outside for the season! 
 Ready to bring new energy to your social dancing?! Join us for an exciting 8-week journey into Cuban Salsa (Casino)—a dynamic, circular style known for its playful partnerwork, musicality, and vibrant Afro-Caribbean roots. Throughout the series, we'll help you build your skills and technique in Cuban salsa partnerwork, and we'll also introduce elements of Afro-Cuban body movement to help give your dancing a ground yet high-energy feel.
Best suited for: Social dancers with prior salsa or cumbia experience who want to challenge themselves and grow their versatility in a new salsa style. This is a progressive 8-week series, and we will meet every Wednesday at 8:30pm from March 4th-April 29th. Join us Friday January 23rd from 6:30pm-8:00pm for a Merengue Workshop! You’ll learn easy steps, fun turns, and how to dance merengue with confidence at any party or social.
